About Floor Barre

Floor barre helps you better understand your technique by slowing everything down. You start to feel where your turnout comes from, how your posture supports the movement, and where you can create more freedom in your body.

Without standing, balance is no longer the main challenge. This gives you space to focus on control and placement, and to work more clearly through your legs and core.

The exercises come from ballet, but on the floor they become simpler and more clear in the body. You can work with less tension, improve your flexibility step by step, and build strength in a more supported way.

Originally from Xinjiang, China, Yuanyuan began with traditional dance before discovering ballet at a young age. After winning an international competition, she moved to Europe and built her career with Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, performing leading roles such as Giselle and Swan Lake. Her training and stage experience shape a clear, focused approach to working with the body.
