A crash course in the basic anatomy of 3 body parts which are particularly relevant to dancers: the core, hips and feet. With this introduction to Anatomy for Dancers, learn what actually happens in your body when you dance and how you can use your knowledge of anatomy to further your training.
2. Core Stability & Posture
Learn how gaining control over your center of gravity can affect your dancing with this detailed description of the core. Luke guides you through an explanation of the abdominal muscles, the glute muscles and the scapular stabilizers, sharing how they all work together to promote balance and coordination in your dancing. With clear demonstrations, Luke points out common faults in dance pertaining to the core. He references specific positions to further explain the topic.
3. Maximum Turnout
