About The Ballet Dictionary
Ballet has its own language. The Ballet Dictionary makes it easy to understand.
Across five chapters, Mackenzie Brown breaks down the essential positions, barre exercises, turns, poses and jumps you’ll encounter in ballet class. You’ll learn how the movements are performed, what correct technique looks like, and the common mistakes that can affect your alignment, control and classical line.
Use it as an introduction to ballet or as a reference whenever you want to revisit a step, position or term and understand it more clearly.
