1. The Missing Piece: An Intro to A LA BARRE
Yanis explains the fundamental difference between choreography and a choreographed warm-up such as, A LA BARRE. With an overview of what to expect in lessons to come, learn how you can use this complete sequence to better prepare your body to dance in heels.

2. Section 1: Warm-Up and Preparation
Starting with basic weight shifts at the barre, learn preparation exercises which are influenced by classical ballet technique. Yanis shares detailed advice for each movement as he teaches the beginning of A LA BARRE.

3. Section 2: Find Your Lines
Yanis further teaches his choreographed barre exercises moving on to higher extensions in adage. With a focus on extended positions, you can discover new ways to create long, beautiful lines in your dancing.

4. Section 3: Isolations
In this section of A LA BARRE, there is a focus on isolating specific parts of your body in order to get the most out of your warm-up. Yanis teaches how to isolate the movement of the head, the rib cage and the hips all while maintaining alignment and, of course, style.

5. Section 4: Battement & Balance
Yanis walks you through a series of battements in all directions to mobilize the hips and increase flexibility. With traditional balances in passé and attitude, learn how to find your center on relevé while wearing heels.

6. Section 5: Extend the Barre
In this last section of A LA BARRE, Yanis guides you through a few last stretches and stylized movements to get you off the barre and into the center.
